The University of Miami is a private university which was created in 1925 in the city of Coral Gables in Miami, Florida. It currently has more than 15, 400 students from all over the world. The University has grown from its main location in Coral Gables to a medical campus in Downtown, Miami. And it has more than 10, 800 full time and part time faculty and staff; moreover it includes more than 12 colleges and schools offering more than 115 bachelors and 114 masters with 15 doctoral. The main focus of the university is creating new knowledge consequently research and sponsored programs include more than $274 Millions in the fiscal year of 2007.[1]
